As a new mother and being in South Florida my schedule is planned with new trendy and educational places to have quality time with my daughter.
Once our Taradise store location in Stuart closed in the pandemic, we took a visit to the Brazilian Court Hotel and discovered the Royal Poinciana retail shops. I also booked a Soul Cycle class with my sister and felt more fit after becoming a new mom. We had lunch at Coyo, and coffee, pastries at Sant Ambroeus. The ambiance made me feel connected again with the international outdoor retail stores. It is calm, serene, and elegant.
My daughter has not traveled to Disney Orlando just yet so the Stoney Clover store and Disney collaboration was a perfect in the middle place to shop everything Mickey and friends, and Disney princesses.
We first made our way to the library area and sat to color and have a snack at the outdoor seating. The concept is impressive in a small area with the pink SMEG fridge with goodies inside. My daughter automatically noticed the crayons and story books.
We chose her patches at Stoney storefront for her pink bag that I have filled with her baby gear, cleaning supplies, snacks and extra clothing. The Stoney Clover patches remind me of the "letterman jacket" and each patch has a meaning and is earned in some way.
The associate helped us find Minnie and Daisy patches along with a small Minnie and Friends brand coin purse. I am happy that she will be able to add to these year after year!
We love taking the time to get outside and enjoy The Royal Poinciana in Palm Beach and the festivities.

So, how does an award winning business retail store prepare a young woman for motherhood? We are going to share it with our founder, Tara of Taradise.
Tara, now being a mother at 32, manages her small webstore in Florida and invitational pop up trunk shows. Tara writes the attributes that prepared her for all things mom.
Tara is a graduate of Lynn University, studied at New York University, a real estate school student and received her esthetician license through the state of Florida in skincare.
Developing a retail store is management and what you do with your day at the store.
At Taradise, I would be able to work from different areas of the business whether it be the merchandising or pricing that day, inventory or customer service. Being a mother is quite the same. You must be equip to manage your time and do multiple jobs at once to keep baby happy and healthy. A baby also begins with a very busy schedule that we must be on time for. I was comfortable with early wake ups with my daughter and prepping what we would need during the nights and days.
There are no days where you just "don't feel like it." Having a commitment to retail is comparable to having a baby. As the leader and owner of a store, there is always a sense of confidence that you have to have everyday to be great at the store 24/7. It goes right with having your child open their eyes and await for you to show them activities, sensory and play time. From experiencing that demand of the store every day, I am more than ready to get my daughter up each day and give her quality involvement.
The store marketing, to the dresses we imported, I wanted it to be the best. Same goes for my daughter. I do the extra steps to make sure she is getting to do new things. Having Taradise store allowed me to discover Greece and connect to products that I love. I feel I am making sure she is given a chance early on to succeed in what interests her.
I have enjoyed bringing the Greek into my daughters parties and manage all of the details from the themes she likes and activities. My Taradise designed bracelets are always a great way to bond with my daughter. We have made several bracelet stacks for her teachers and family gifts!
As Taradise starts out 2022, Tara will utilize our platform with informative mom wellness, fun places for mom and baby to go to, designs and managing mompreneur daily life.
Our website is shop-able with select Greek key gifts.

Our next blog features a Disney x stoney clover, Tara and her daughter went to!
We had the excitement of creating the favors for our founder, Tara's baby shower this past February. We wanted to incorporate a Greek theme for the celebration here in South Florida.
The Greek mati "eye" is a Greek tradition that first begins when a baby is born. The mati is pinned on a special item of the baby's for protection and good luck. Tara being the founder of Taradise wanted the mati apart of her special shower day. Taradise boutique was able to do just that! We had the most beautiful favors made by Katerina Karakoulaki for each guest of the shower designed with the mati in pink, sterling silver, and gold.
The first favors we felt fitting for the party on the veranda were handmade bags. The handmade bags were designed in Greece with a sterling silver pink enamel eye charm , tied on with a pink bow and a printed pink bear on the bag. The next favor each guest found inside the bag was a gold plated pink eye charm keychain with a delicate cross and tassel. Each guest will always carry their lucky keychain with them in memory of such a gorgeous baby shower celebration!
Tara loved bringing Taradise to her baby shower and for each guest to receive something special with the Greek eye.
